Exergy Hub-based Homogenization Model of Heterogeneous Energy for Distributed Energy System: a Highway Service Area Approach

Published: 31 July 2024 Publication History

Abstract

A multi-energy integrated system is caricterized by multi-energy input and output in energy supply and demand side, as well as the complex energy transfer, conversion and storage process. The difference among heterogeneous energy sources results in uncertainties in system evaluation, analysis, dispatching and optimization. The exergy hub-based homogenization model was introduced to describe and measure the energy quantity of energy station. The case study of highway service area shows the resultant heterogenization model is applicable and effective for system operation and optimization of multi-energy integrated distributed system.
