State evaluation and intelligent operation and maintenance of relay protection systems based on information monitoring

Abstract

In order to understand the status evaluation and intelligent operation and maintenance system of relay protection systems, research on information monitoring based status evaluation and intelligent operation and maintenance of relay protection systems has been proposed. This paper mainly studies the failure modes and failure rate distribution patterns of relay protection systems. Firstly, the structure and working mode of the relay protection system were analyzed, and common fault types of the relay protection system were studied and summarized, laying the foundation for analyzing the implementation of relay protection equipment faults. Secondly, taking the protection equipment of a 120KV intelligent substation transformer in a certain area of a certain city as an example, a Weibull function based failure rate distribution curve fitting was performed. The fault line identification method based on measurement impedance is used to quickly and accurately identify the fault line, ensuring accurate analysis and evaluation of both fault component protection and non fault component protection.
