Research on the construction of standard system for complex business system based on system engineering and hierarchy theory

Published: 15 October 2024 Publication History

Abstract

This paper analyzes the basic characteristics of complex business system based on system theory. Combined with the connotation and characteristics of the standard system, the characteristics of the standardization requirements of complex business systems are analyzed. In this paper, the characteristics of hierarchy theory are studied, and the application of the concepts such as whole element, structure level, granularity and boundary in both complex business system and standard system are studied. Based on system engineering theory, the construction method of standard system for complex business system is designed. In this method, the whole element, structure level, granularity and boundary of hierarchy theory are used to solve the key problems such as the goal, system structure, standard granularity and system boundary of standard system. There are many ways to construct the standard system. However, most of the existing approaches focus on the decomposition of the architecture, without considering why the standard architecture is built and what the standard architecture is built for. In fact, standards are designed to support actual business systems. The construction model of standard system for complex business system using system engineering and hierarchy theory proposed in this paper fully reflects the systematic characteristics of standard system, and based on actual business the transformation process from business system to standard system which including business requirement definition, demand analysis, system design, system implementation and operation and maintenance is established. The method set up in this paper breaks through the shortcomings of traditional standard system construction methods that only focus on system construction and separate from the actual business system.
