Advancing Telehealth Web-based Systems with Smartwatch Integration for Enhanced Medical Tracking in Philippine Aged Care Facilities

Published: 15 October 2024 Publication History

Abstract

This paper explores the integration of digital technology in healthcare, particularly in telehealth and home-based monitoring systems. The objective is to enhance patient outcomes, improve access to care, and empower both patients and healthcare providers. The study investigates existing literature, related systems, and gap analysis to identify research questions and objectives. The methodology involves reviewing published papers comprehensively, benchmarking, and evaluating associated systems. The findings highlight the feasibility and benefits of telehealth technologies for elderly patients and the potential of electronic health record systems in clinical decision-making. The paper concludes by emphasizing the significance of implementing technology in healthcare and its positive impact on patient experiences.
