Abstract

This paper describes a low-cost musical instruction system written entirely in APL. This system has facilities to enter, store, edit, and perform simple music compositions. The only special device required to implement the system is an inexpensive "music box" to provide musical (sound) output. Typical instructional uses of the system are shown.
