ABSTRACT
The ICCP is sharpening its focus on the goal of professionalism through certification. In May, the Directors set several activities in motion that are based upon agreement of principle. Each activity encourages the cooperation of all the professional associations and moves the information systems industry toward professionalism.
Current board members will be joined by members elected by and from current certificate holders. This action is based on the principle that there is now an adequate number of certificate holders to accept the responsibility to at least share in their professional certification program.
