Autocheck program, program to check validity of printed circuit cards and circuit usage

Published: 01 August 1972 Publication History

Abstract

The Autocheck program is used to validate the routing of etched wiring on PC cards for the present generation of computer systems under development. Additionally, it validates the manual assignments of logic gates to integrated circuits, the pin assignments on these integrated circuits, and performs some additional non-logic checks. The position of this program in the chain beginning with the Master Data Bank (the complete set of logic equations for a computer system which is used for gate level logical simulation) and ending with the individual PC card test routines is discussed. The Autotape program (which drives the automatic drafting machine) is discussed, particularly as to the checks it makes, and its place in the automatic validation chain.
