PAMSIM: A project management simulator

Published:01 January 1974Publication History

ABSTRACT

The purpose of the Project Activity Management Simulator (PAMSIM) is to provide a new means of teaching project analysis and management. An important ingredient of project management is the design and use of project control systems. Traditionally, project management has been taught in one of two ways. One way is the ordinary textbook-lecture-homework approach, in which project management control and analysis functions are treated individually. Another way is the case-study approach in which a real or imagined project is analyzed.
